Workmens Boots & Shoes has been family-owned and operated since 1976.

Harold Katz opened a retail footwear store with the Knapp shoe franchise when he retired and moved to Tucson from New York. In 1995, Steve took over the family business of safety shoes and boots. Steve’s son David joined him in 2000 when the old Knapp store became Workmens Boots & Shoes. And thanks to you the customers, we are still servicing our local Tucson community for over 45 years in 2022.

Ever since we opened in 1976, quality products from well-known brands and genuine customer service are always our top priorities. Workmens Boots & Shoes isn’t like your typical big-name store.
